Lavras Novas is situeted in the south of the Ouro Preto, MG, at 20 Km of the base. Has an altitude of 1.300 meters.
Activities of Ecotourism:
Off Road – In Land Rover vehicles, we will visit the cascades Tres Pingos, Namorados, viewpoint and the dam of Custodio and a quiet distance of the reserve of the park Itacolomi.
Duck (Caoning in Kayak) In the Custodio Dam we will do the travel by his extension until we arrive to the cascade of the Pleasures.
Trekking – Crossing Lavras Santo Antonio do Salto ( medium level ) Travel across the Lavras Novas mountain until we arrive at Santo Antonio do Salto ( 9 Km.) . Return in vehicle off road land rover.

Distant 30 Km of Ouro Preto and with around 2.000 habitants the district of Santo Antonio do Salto. The river Maynard, is one of the most beautiful ecological reserve, and still not known, in the area called Circuit of the Real Road, presenting a landscape stage. Protected by the Mountain Range of Lavras Novas with countless waterfalls and falls of water, forming one of the biggest water backups.
Activities of Ecotourism:
Off Road- Veicles Land Rover, going down by a path of the mountain of Lavras Novas, we will visit the cascade of Sibrão “esorregador”, footbridge of the Funil Canyon, ruin of the century farm of Sibrão and viewpoint of Baúl and Fundão.
Duck (Caoning in Kayak) In the Mayanrd river, departing from the Funil fabric to the Sibrão bridge.
Trekking – Crossing Lavras Novas / Santo Antonio do Salto ( medium level ) Travel across the Lavras Novas mountain until we arrive at Santo Antonio do Salto ( 9 Km.) . Return in vehicle off road land rover.
Crossing the footbridge of the Funil Canyon (Easy level) roughly 50 minutes.
