Paraiba - Brasil
The State of Paraiba is placed in the oriental extreme of Brazil and South America. This was the traditional territory of the indigenous communities of Potiguaras, Tabajaras and Cariris.
Its current population is: 3.650.303
The main cultural influences come from Portuguese, French and Dutch people who fought for this territory.
The State has also Jurassic remains. There are caverns that contain rupestrine designs; there is a popular Valley of Dinosaurs in the region of Souza, and a paleontology camp in the region of Ingá.

Places to visit in Paraiba
Farol e Ponta dos Seixas: From there, it is possible to see most of the urban beaches of the capital and also the Ponta dos Seixas, eastern side of América. It is an obligled stopping for people who visit Paraiba.
Laredo de Pai Mateus: It is located in one of the dry zones of Brazil. The Laredo do Pai Mateus is a wonderful natural monument, is formed by several blocks of granite.
Praia da Tambaba: the beach is located in Do Conde/PB municipality, it became popular because it was the first beach of Northeast, was official in 1989 for naturism. It is a real ecological sanctuary that is 40Km away from the Paraiba´s capital, Joao Pesoa.
Vale dos Dinosaurios: It covers more than 700Km2, there are approximately 30 localities. There are 5-centimeters tracks of dinosaur smaller than a hen, others are 40cm long and belongs to an iguanodonte that weight 4 tons. Most of the paths belong to carnivorous dinosaurs.
Cruz da Menina: It is known as Cruz da Menina, the place corresponds to a religious atmosphere, is visited by religious of different towns.
