Pernambuco - Brasil
Pernambuco is located near to The Atlantic, in the northwest part of Brazil.
This State played an important part in the history of Brazil, particularly, during The XVII Century, in the period of the sugar cane.
Its current population is: 7.918.344 hab.
Pernambuco has a privileged geographic position, in terms of its proximity to Europe; such fact makes this State an entrance for international tourism.
The State possesses many folkloric expressions, like its dances and different rhythms (maracatu, cuadrilla, ciranda and fandango).
