The Divine Saint Spirit festivity is the major Pirenopolis popular festivity, a mix of religious and pagan traditions with several origins and means. It is a folklore profusion so rich in tradition and spectacles that is considered contagious for both pagan and religious.

The best part of Cavalhada party, is the staging of the fight between christian and moros riding horses, it starts 45 days after Pascua´s Sunday and attract almost 15 thousand people. The election of Divine emperador is opened the entire twelve days of event, brought about in 1819 by portugueses jesuits. The mascarados (people to disguise with bull´s had or panter - at walk or to ride), are other curiosity of fancy dress party, to cryng out for the street very fun for the audience at event.
