Foz do Iguaçú - Paraná

This location is placed in the Brazilian frontier with Argentina and Paraguay. It is a tourist significant point, known as The International Tourist Point of Iguazu.

It is situated 640 kilometres from Curitiba.

Foz do Iguazu is internationally popular due to its natural attractions like the waterfalls, mentioned before, and the enormous Hydroelectric Central of Itaipu.

The city is located in the west zone of The State of Paraná. It is much closed to the famous waterfalls.

The National Park of Iguazu. It is one of the biggest natural reserves of South America.

The park is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8.00 a.m. until 17.00 p.m. There is a cost, for person and vehicle, to enter.

The infrastructure of the park was conceived to receive several visitors. Besides, there is a traditional resort inside the park.

The main trips there are:

A helicopter travel. The safari "Salto do Macuco", a three kilometre journey through the rainforest in an electric vehicle.

A boat trip through the cascade of Garganta del Diablo.
