Arraial do Cabo - Rio de Janeiro

Among the most important beaches, it is possible to mention:

Pontal. This beach is located in front of Do Pontal island. It has a calm sea, gold sand and little dunes.

Prainha. An urban beach, which is regularly visited by families.

Do Forno. A quiet inlet enclosed by native vegetation. Its waters are transparent and ideal for diving.

Do Farol. This beach is placed in The Cabo Frio island. It has white sand and transparent water.

Do Pontal do Atalaia (Prainhas). This beach is formed by two small inlets separated by rocks. It presents a panoramic view to Cabo Frio. Its waters are transparent and calm.

Brava. A beach with big waves that is recommended for surfing and fishing.

Grande. This is a beach with fine clear sand, strong waves and some dunes.
