Petar - São Paulo
This is a natural park divided in three nucleus: Santana, Oro Grueso and Caboclos.
It is well known thanks to its subterranean caverns and galleries; this ecological park comprehends more than 300 prehistoric caverns.
Some of these caves are 6 kilometers long, like The Santana Cavern, whose galleries create a complex maze.
Nevertheless, some of them represent a major risk for tourists, and so, they are closed to visitors.
In order to get access to the caves and galleries, the use of helmet and lantern is obligatory. The journey promises a great experience in a quiet dark world.
In addition, this park is adequate to practice trekking, caving, flota-cross, camping, hikes and other outdoor activities.
