The soccer country or the “Nación de chuteras” are the names under Brazil is known.

The presence of soccer is visible in the Brazilian landscape there is no native town or village, monastery or prison without a football field. This sport is present in politic, fashion, culinary arts, cinema, literature, theater, popular music and even classical music. For some people football is religion, for others art. The numbers in soccer in Brazil are expressive, but aren’t the biggest in the world according to FIFA. The numbers of the soccer clubs in Brazil –almost 30000-is less than in England, and the number of 2 millions of players affiliated is less than in
Germany. Besides the total of players are less than countries like India or China

The Brazilian football confederation (CBF) is the organization that manages the Brazilian football, with its 27 departmental federations. The CBF based in the city of Rio de Janeiro organize the Brazilian Soccer Championship and is also is in charge for women's football tournaments in the country.
